Well what a success!!
- 109 registered Pilots (including 19 from the US)
- Over 210 aircraft
- Over a thousand "Die Hard" Spectators from Arnprior!!!
- The only Air Show on the weekend
And it was all due to your help. Over 40 of you came out and made the first ever ROG in Canada a success.
SOME SPECIAL THANKS goes to "Special Folks" who did a lot behind the scenes. The event directors want to give special credit to:
DAVE ASQUINI - Dave did the PR work and got us on National Television CTV and got commercial sponsors in action
DAVE HAMMOND - Dave got the model vendors as sponsors (Especially Discount Hobbies) as well he produced and printed the event program
GERRY NADON - Gerry did all the National Aviation Museum arrangements for the IMAA Board Meeting on Friday. It was a world class event.
BILL Le SHIEN - Bill took all those wonderful photos and had copies made for our visitors They rellay appreciated it Bill.
CARL KINGSTON - Carl provided the PA system
Special Mention as well to DAVE REES and TOM HASTIE. Dave provided the PA syste aon Thursday and both he and Tom did a great job of displaying everything to the spectators even though it was raining.
As well thanks to Dave Asquini, Dave Hammond, Bill Croft and Owen Bird for staying behind in the pouring rain to get everything stowed away

And last but not least to our MAAC President Richard Barlow and Zone Director Claude Melbourne who not only worked their duty shift on the line but gave us the necessary MAAC support and advertising.
